She revealed to interviewers on the H3 Podcast how she was raised in the slums of Manila by her grandmother until she was 3 years old. Kenneth Taylor was an American and Eden Taylor his wife took her in as a child. Poarch revealed that, for the next 10 years, she spent the majority of her time cleaning the family farm. She is the older of two older sisters who were adopted and also has an older brother Bryner. In the year 13 the family relocated to Texas in the United States, except for two older sisters.
